I was going to write a really long article about “WTF Lactose Intolerance”, however, in light of recent events I had a hard time getting up the gumption to hit pen to paper. Or fingers to keyboard, as the case may be. It’s a pretty big shame though, I had a pretty solid article planned that both traced the scientific background and reasons for lactose intolerance and also provided some terrifying stories about nearly pooping myself.

We all know how much we here at 9to5 (dot cc) fucking love ourselves some poop. I thought of putting a link there but man, there’s just so many different pages I could’ve linked to that I’ll just recommend searching “poop” up there in the search window. We’ve touched on it a few times to be sure.

Who knows though, that lactose article may well get written at some point or another, you might get lucky. Maybe in a Fuck Mondays or something.

Anyhow, if you’ve diligently been following everything that I’ve written these past few weeks you might have found out that I’ve been hired to a new job. This new job comes along with a whole pack of new things to learn and new responsibilities. The whole thing is pretty draining but overall I think I will be happier there than my old job. However, currently I don’t have net access there. This has not only cut into my reddit time, but also has made it that I can’t really keep tabs on current events and the like. I haven’t even been given a computer yet and when I do, well, I’ll just end up with more responsibility.

This new job pays me significantly more than more old job so I sort of don’t want to fuck it up, at least, not right away. I’m sure I’ll get pretty jaded and indifferent there sooner or later, then it may be the triumphant return of me writing this column.

Anyhow, if you haven’t gathered from this intricate dance that I’m performing around the subject this may be the last WTF World. Not only will I likely have a hard time managing to stay abreast of things, some other recent events may force us into reshuffling the workload around here at the site. I might just not have enough time to manage this column on a weekly basis. I wish it wasn’t so, I really do. Hopefully it won’t be.

So, long story short: this might be THE final WTF World, but fret not, something will spring up in it’s place. I also might have another one or two kicking around inside of me, though the sinking feeling in the pit of my gut tells me to imagine the worst case scenario. One thing for sure, things might have to get mixed up a little here at 9to5 (dot cc) but we’re not going anywhere.
