The Montreal podcasting tradition continues in 2023 with the most raucous event in podcasting: The Go Plug Yourself Shit Show!

Every year we get way too many people together and record a podcast.

Is 10 too many people for a podcast? Yes it definitely is.

It’s like a party where you’re not allowed to talk!

This year’s Shit Show features *deep breath*: Chris Venditto, Walter Lyng, Serag Meletian, Vance Michel, Tyler Lemco, Alex Lancaster, Kayla De Leon, Lawrence Corber, Phil Donald and myself!

Get into it! The only thing missing from this year’s episode? Inés Anaya. But we got her best friend Kayla De Leon! Take that Inés!

Tyler Lemco Returns! – GPYS 249

Montreal’s favorite arts, entertainment and comedy podcast is back and asks Tyler Lemco: If you could go back in time and tell yourself to purposefully make a mistake, what would it be? That question was asked by Esteban Vargas back in episode 248.

Tyler Lemco is a Montreal icon in Mexico.

Tyler is down in Mexico for the next little while since he heard that a bunch of truckers would be blasting their horns here in Canada. He joins Chris Venditto and I to talk about food, flirting without a common language, Lemco Day and whether or not he would be safer in unfamiliar parts of the world with or without his brother.

Tyler is pretty much a kind of comedy renaissance man, performing standup, writing sketches, appearing on talk shows, DJing and starring in content all over the world wide web.

Tyler Lemco could be the next mayor of Montreal. Hey, if a reality TV star can become President of the United States, why can’t a YouTube star become mayor of a city? It’s just that easy guys. Follow your bliss. If you don’t know Tyler, you probably don’t spend countless hours wathcing YouTube videos, where he initially made a name for himself on a little show about a certain time for eating meals that may or may not have been epic. Since then Tyler has branched out on his own as a famous internet type. And now, he’s running for mayor.

Seriously. Like, there’s an article in the Montreal Gazette guys. That is LEGIT.

Go Plug Yourself 38: Tyler Lemco

So, if you can’t tell by that amazing picture that I chose for the episode image, that’s Tyler Lemco. He’s possibly best known for eating piles of bacon on Epic Meal Time. However, he has some other stuff going on that is also awesome. Like what you ask? Well, he raps. He’s also starring in a little indie flick with 9to5 (dot cc)’s own Walter Lyng called Lazy Boys (coming soon to something in your house). Tyler also owns rings that look like wrestling championship belts, which immediately qualifies him for our show. Tyler talks about some great stories of partying and excess and also about a strange house of a creepy old man who keeps another creepy old man in his basement and a menagerie of animals in and around his home. I’m not even kidding. The bar was a little loud on this one so deal with it kids. Pretty sure that’s the new motto of 9to5 (dot cc): Deal with it kids.
