    Fringe Festival veteran Fiona Ross is proud to bring Ms. Bea Haven back to the Montreal Fringe Festival in the followup to last year’s “Is That How Clowns Have Sex?”. This time around the sex-educational clown has decided that she should have her own talk show because of course she should!

    Mike O’Brien may just have the strangest road to a second Fringe production ever: A genre wrestling piece that won Spirt of the Fringe last year prompted him to create a highly education show about the science of metallurgy and the sharpness of knives.

  • Go Fringe Yourself 2019 – SILENCE

    Stéfan Cédilot & Kathleen Aubert have become somewhat known in the Montreal theater scene for their use of dynamic soundtracks in their works. This year, they shake things up quite a bit by producing two shows that are not just devoid of soundtracks, but are also nearly completely silent.

    (Silence.) is two short plays, each telling its own story and exploring different facets of silence : what it says, what it shows, and what it hides.

  • Go Fringe Yourself 2019 – COLLISION

    Tiera Joly Pavelich suffered multiple concussions in the span of a few short years as a dancer. Somehow, she has taken that experience and used it as fuel to create something amazing. Working as a choreographer, Tiera has guided Gabriela Guerra Woo through her experiences in interpretive dance and movement.

    Sarah plans on watching this and crying quietly throughout.

Dance Side of the Mood – Go Fringe Yourself 2018

Dance Side of the Moon is our first episode of Go Fringe Yourself! (We will lie later and say another episode is the first, but this is the first one because of time travel). The Festival St-Ambroise Fringe Montreal is kicking off! We’ve already got a few episodes of our Go Plug Yourself spinoff show “Go Fringe Yourself” (where my wife Sarah takes over the co-hosting duties from Walter) in the can but we realized that this show actually starts tonight! Fringe dance-superstars Maxine Segalowitz and Helen Simard to answer the question: “if you danced to the entirety of Dark Side of the Moon, what would it look like?”

If that doesn’t get you interested in heading over to the Freestanding Room for one of the 12 showings of this incredible sounding show. Helen Simard was our guest on this episode to talk about the process that she and Maxine used to develop the show. Enjoy!

AudioBuzz: Wasteland

So this is it for the audiobuzz podcasts guys. I’m just as sad as you are. I don’t want to make any false promises so if something happens in podcast land between now and the end of the Fringe it will be a happy surprise. If it doesn’t, then I was right and this is the last one. We’ll still be around the festival, so come give us some love.
