The Montreal podcast that asks Andrew Jamieson & Dawn McSweeney of Forget The Box: What is the weirdest porn you’ve gotten off to? That question asked by Vinny Terzo (Horns & Hoofs) back in episode 279 (sorry dad).

If you’ve been following the arts and entertainment “underground” scene of Montreal over the course of the last 15-20 years the name ‘Forget the Box’ almost certainly rings a bell at the very least. Maybe you’re intimately familiar or maybe you’ve just heard the name in passing.

Forget the Box was a mainstay blog of the scene – covering the likes of theater, music, comedy and more. Unfortunately certain blogs that I have no problem calling out like MTLBlog squashed a lot of great local content by carpet bombing social media with their bullshit and Forget the Box was very nearly a casualty.

But then Andrew Jamieson stepped in with the defibrillator and resuscitated Forget the Box and it’s back baby! It’s new home is ForgetTheBox.ca and Dawn and Andrew are hellbent on making it an important part of the Montreal arts scene once again. We talk about how they’re doing thing differently, the type of journalism you can expect at Forget the Box, movies, music and a bunch of other stuff I’m forgetting. It’s that free wheeling Go Plug Yourself magic.
