The St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival is back! That means our Fringe podcast is back!
Sarah and I are super excited for this year’s Fringe lineup and to celebrate we sat down with the artists behind 3 incredible sounding shows that will be happening as part of the 2023 editions of the Montreal Fringe Festival.
They are (and click the links for more info and tickets!):
- 01:32: 9 Lives, 8 Near-Misses: Life Lessons From Near-Death Events
- postitpaul (aka Paul de Tourreil)
- 27:05: Hey B*tch, Love You
- Gabrielle Banville, Tiernan Cornford, Brooklyn Melnyk and Cat Preston
- 48:59: Who, Me?
- Valerie Boisvert
It’s the perfect blend of three different shows that will get you thinking about fan fiction, kung-fu and marriage. Your mind will be spinning as you contemplate time-loops, car accidents and Harry Styles. You will dive head first into the world of best friends, daily Facebook posts and anesthesiology. I won’t tell you which show all these things are from, you will have to listen to the whole episode to find out for yourself.
Seriously though, there is so much happening this year, if you’ve been putting off getting back into the Fringe due to that big ole’ pandemic you have a whole lot of fringing to catch up on. Hopefully Sarah and I will see you at the Fringe Park and we can share a beer!
The Montreal Fringe has already kicked off! Head to montrealfringe.ca for tickets, showtimes and good vibes all around.
Enjoy!
