Tim Riel

Tim Riel joins the Montreal podcast that asks: If you had to give yourself a nickname, what would it be? Asked by none other than Elspeth Wright back in episode 226.

Tim Riel is our guest this week as we creep ever closer to the one year anniversary of the COVID-19 lockdown here in Canada. We continue to put our spotlight on many of the creative ways funny people are finding ways to be funny without actual venues and audiences.

One of those funny people is Tim Riel who has taken to Twitch to play Codenames with a host of funny people. You’ll recognize a lot of familiar faces on the show, Go Plug Yourself favorites like Elspeth Wright, Reese Turner, Joey Elias and our own hosts Lawrence Corber and Chris Venditto have popped up too. Of course there are plenty of other faces you might not recognize but are also definitely very funny.

If you’re not familiar with Codenames it a great game that has quickly become one of the most popular party games for Sarah and I back in the days when you could still have parties. Thankfully it’s also extremely easy to play online which Tim and his rotating cast take full advantage of.

You can head over to Twitch.tv/tim_riel every Monday and Thursday at 8 pm Eastern Time to catch Codenames Live or check out the channel to watch replays of previous shows.
