Well, Ronan contributes to the site, so by extension he’s part of the 9to5 crew’s extended family (I think this is a poorly written sentence since I’ve used derivatives of the word ‘extend’). Also, he’s a guest host who works in the theater, so maybe it’s a Go Plug Yourself? It is an enigma wrapped in bacon. Anyhow, if you don’t know, Ronan (or Rolo as we sometimes call him) was flown in on the wings of his friends this Christmas . We were all pretty hung over and decided about 45 minutes before recording that we were gonna do a podcast with him, so Ronan picked up Jon, headed to my house, we cracked a few beers and then this happened:

I think I’ve mentioned before but we’ve had some problems with recording with 3 people, for various reasons. This is actually the 4th 9ES podcast, however the real Episode 2 and 3 may forever be lost to time. Episode 2 was completely garbage and scrapped, Episode 3 would’ve been cool because it would’ve included Sophie, but Scott muted his microphone for about 70% of it. It was very sad.

Well, here it is, the first ever podcast here at 9to5 (dot cc). We’ve named the flagship podcast “9to5 Entertainment System, or 9ES for short. We’re pretty proud of that one folks. This is my first time editing one of these fuckers together, so there are a few minor little technical foibles that I intend to rectify in Episode 2 (overall volume levels should probably be bumped a little).
Anyhow, I’m going to try to get one of these up every 2 weeks, don’t hold me to that though. It’s just want I’m aiming for; I’ll let you know when we have a cemented timeline. So in the meantime, enjoy the podcast by clicking here.
