So the former writer of one of Montreal’s premiere LGBT/pop culture/plain old hilarious and interesting columns, “Three Dollar Bill” from the late, great, free indie paper The Hour joins us to talk about his new blog “Pop Tart” over at The Gazette. No, I’m just kidding. I mean, we do sort of talk about that but mostly we just sit back and enjoy what I’m sure is only the tip of the iceberg of Richard’s amazing stories. From tales of Nick Auf der Maur holding court at our very own Grumpy’s to setting up Plastik Patrick to get on stage with Cyndi Lauper (to say nothing of a story about the back of a dingy bar in Australia or a feud with a gay-bashing dance hall musician), Richard keeps the stories coming. If you enjoy anything about Montreal’s English indie press history listen to this episode right now.

Seriously guys, this is an amazing episode that you owe it to yourself to listen to.

Don’t call it a comeback.
