This one makes me think of Justice for some reason. Maybe with a hint of Battlestar Galactaca. Like a French new wave synth sci fi epic. The original one, though. Where the future looks an awful lot like the 70s.
Years ago I noticed a button that said “album cover” in our .mp3 compressing software and I thought to myself, hey, if we get ole Scotto to format the file right maybe people will get his art delivered to them on their iPhones. Tragically, this has never actually worked. I do fill that box in though, so somewhere in the tubes there’s the unique podcast cover page. Invisible to you. Visible to the AlphaBet.
Really though, it’s out there hundreds of times. Possibly thousands. I mean, just getting these letters typed on the screen the actual data has been copied into 6 or 7 separate physical locations just on my PC. Getting this text then into the cloud will take a dozen separate machines each with its own network card/network cache/ram/cache/register/hd ritual of processing before the data has been manipulated and passed on to the next spot in the chain. Then it’s in the cloud. It’s be copied over and over into who knows how many boxes out there. Again, remember, each time there are multiple separate physical locations with a new logical arrangement.
If I was the sort of person for whom the notion of cosmic mantra held any weight, this all might concern me. I mean, I’m about to do it, holy shit, here we go:

If you’re reading this, it’s happened already. I typed the word, it was copied 6 times to get onto my screen and another 60 to get to the cloud, and then 600 more to all the people who download this text. Him Who Is Not To Be Named has just been.
Anyway, AlphaBet is getting that cosmic ripple injection but of Scott’s episode covers that nobody else ever sees. Probably will have somewhat less influence than technocthulic ritual mind you.
