The Montreal podcast that asks Gonzalo Coloma (YES Montreal) & Daian Tang (CHOKITEM) from What the Pop!: If you could travel back in time and see any show, what show would it be? (as asked by Joey Elias back on GPYS 214).

Where do we even begin with this one? There’s just so much going on.

The most important thing is that both of our wonderful guests on this episode will be a part of the What the Pop! Pop-Up Exhibition this weekend. What is that? Glad you asked.

On Saturday September 5th YES Montreal is bringing together over 50 talented, emerging artists from across Quebec to help them gain exposure and sell their art. You can head to Riverside (5020 Rue St-Ambroise) or Centre St-Jax (1439 Rue Ste-Catherine St) between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm this Saturday to see live music and performances, buy one of a kind art work, mixed media, fasion items, jewelry, crafts and probably a million other things.

Our guests are Gonzalo Coloma, who works as an Artist Coach for YES Montreal and also used to run his own circus (yes, we get to that) and Daian Tang who has worked in the fashion industry for 15 years and runs Chokitem (accesories, jewelery and more).

We talk about making it as an artist in the time of Covid-19, how to stay inspired, how to sell yourself and some of the most delicious meals we’ve heard about to date in 5 questions.

Listen to the show, head out to the pop-up exhibition and support the artists online as What the Pop! will be opening a virtual version of the exhibition sometime in the next week or so.
