So it’s been just over three years since I last made one of these, but someone said the words “Bad Dudes” to me today, and, well here we are.

Al right, I know I said that the last time was supposed to be the only time, but then I found this sweet new graphic of Bad Dude Commander (which I am guessing is from the arcade game), and I was powerless. So here are two new Bad Dude Commander comics. I want to promise they’re the last ones, but I’m apparently not a man of my word when it comes to this.
This is an actual Paula Dean recipe. Yeah, that’s right, the recipe is crazier than the idea of the Bad Dudes yelling it at you.

Being creative is a tricky thing. When read, it’s implied that creativity is intrinsically a good thing. Making things, new things, suggests that they are going to be good things. I guess sometimes that can be true. This whole site is founded on creativity, and most of it is really good, funny stuff.
Sometimes, however, being creative means spending a morning creating comic strips based around the special agent from the video game “Bad Dudes vs. DragonNinja“. I posit that this is a creative venture, however, even as its creator, I find the inherent goodness of this product to be… dubious.
I present to you, in its entirety, Bad Dude Comics:
The 9to5.cc crew is always looking for ways to, well to produce. We want to deliver for you, our faithful readers. (Or reader. Hi. How’s it going?)
As such, we will banter and toss around new ideas for podcasts, articles or comic strips.
I’m going to take you behind the curtain here, to show you where the magic happens, and how it comes about.
This is from an email exchange we had yesterday.
