WrestleMania! Pat Laprade returns for an epic 2 part wrestling podcast spectacular! We celebrated our 1st full year of podcasting by recording an epic 2 and a half hour podcasting extravaganza! We split it up into “pre” WrestleMania and WrestleMania itself.  This episode is all about WrestleMania. WrestleMania week is right around the corner and it’s the one time of year where the rest of the world remembers that pro wrestling is a thing. Pat is heading to Los Angeles this week for the premiere of the Andre the Giant HBO documentary and he’ll be in New Orleans next week for the Grandaddy of Them All: WrestleMania! Pat will be checking out hours upon hours of wrestling in the next week or two and we talk about what he’s going to see and what he’s excited for. Enjoy the show!

Pat on the Mat is back! Quebec’s premier English language wrestling podcast returns once again to discuss everything in and around the squared circle. Pat is fresh off the triumphant return of Femmes Fatales‘ to Ottawa and he talks (of course) about that show, including the outstanding crowd reaction all night long.

We also talk about Reigns cutting a promo on the most recent Raw, Fastlane predictions as well as our predictions about the Wrestlmania Card. I don’t mind telling you that I’ve come up with what I think might be a super interesting angle for hometown heroes Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens because I’m a huge mark. We also talk about the Golden Lovers reunion and their upcoming match with The Young Bucks.

We finish of the discussion with RVD’s return to Montreal for IWS UnFNSanctioned! And that takes place tomorrow night!

This time we talk about Pat’s new gig over at TVA Sports where he will be one half of the announce team (along with Kevin Raphael) of an abridged version of Monday Night RAW each week, the finals of the Mae Young Classic, the upcoming WWE Pay-Per-View Hell in a Cell and so much more. Honestly, so much happened between the ropes this month that this episode runs a little long, and we still don’t get to half of the excitement that has gone down this past month.
