One of the best things about having a kid is getting to share with him all the stuff that you loved as a kid.

It is the privilege of the age in which we live that we are able to seek out and find any and every thing that was ever on television, and as such, I’ve been watching “Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends” with Archer for the last week or so. And we’re coming up on “The X-Men Adventure” soon.

You should watch it now, because we’re gonna get all spoiler-y below.

9to5 Entertainment System 51: X-Men 50th Anniversary Special

In case you were unaware, 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of the X-Men franchise. A few months ago we got together to record our special little tribute to those uncanny men and women. The idea was to keep it in the bank for a week when we couldn’t get together. However, we also realized that this will be the last episode in 2013 so if we didn’t use it this week we wouldn’t really be celebrating the 50th anniversary would we? No we wouldn’t. We talk about our favorite comics, mutants, movies, TV shows and a whole lot of other love for the X-Men. What’s your favorite X-Men memory? 50 sure is old
