So I’ve decided to take up painting again. I’ve never been very good at it, but it seems to be relaxing and solitary, and mixing in both a quiet concentration and a care-free carelessness.
I started with portraiture, and in an obvious choice (for anyone that truly knows me), my first subject was NWA’s own, Eazy E.

This is a digital painting rooted in a sketch I made of my friend (and some time contributor to 9to5) Danny.
I’m pretty pleased with how it came out, all in all, especially since I don’t use photoshop to paint all that often.
