Look At All My Sh*t – November Loot Crate
Ok, so it’s December 2nd today and I really wanted to post the contents of my November Loot Crate in the month of November, but I was also extremely excited to write about my first time being a DM. I don’t really feel that guilty though since this is going to be the post that knocks Jon off the homepage which means that once again I’m in charge. I am going to instigate a rule that if someone manages to dominate the homepage the other members of the site need to buy me a pony. Or a kitty. Or at least a beer.
Alright, this was a tough second month to be a Looter. Being a horror fan and having the October theme be FEAR was probably setting the bar a little high for a first month. I’m not saying this month is bad by any means, just not as much of it speaks to me on a personal level. However, if you remember my previous entry about Loot Crate you’ll know that I have every intention of giving away a lot of this stuff at Keithmas, so everybody wins! This month’s theme was BATTLE. As always I attempt to quantify the happiness I felt for each item as I discovered it using a maximum of 5 little hearts. Let’s take a look at what we’ve got:
Mega Bloks Grenade Thing
Presumably there’s a little Master Chief inside of that grenade. This makes me sound like an asshole, but having never played any significant amount of Halo this is 100% going to be a gift for someone else. This is why it is not opened. Before you judge me too harshly though, you should know that the person who gets it is a pretty big Halo fan. So, it’s not about me giving away something I don’t want, it’s about making someone else happy.

Assassin’s Creed Coin
Here’s another weird one. It shames me to admit that I’ve never been a big Ass Creed guy. I remember putting a few memorable hours into the online Beta of what I think was Brotherhood? I had a good time. I’ve just never really got around to digging into the series. Once again though, I know a big fan. So this will be a great gift. An added bonus is even though it makes no sense I feel like I could give this coin to someone and say “valar morghulis” and it would mean something.

Ryu Bandana
At this point you see that bandana still in its package and you’re like “this guy doesn’t like Street Fighter, man fuck this guy.” Listen, I like Street Fighter plenty, and if Keithmas wasn’t right around the corner I would have popped that bag open and punched and kicked my car until it explodes for extra points in between fights. However, I am pretty sure I am going to bundle this bandana with something else and give it away. Generosity kids, look it up.

Once again, the t-shirt is one of the coolest items in the crate. There’s also a special feeling that you have knowing that your shirt is at least a little unique. Or at least, you can’t buy it in stores. There’s probably a million Looters. You see, it’s a pirate and a ninja intertwined, who knows where one ends and one begins? It’s little like pirate/ninja slash fiction, but in a shirt! Also, as you can probably see from the close-up, the images are made up of words related to pirates and ninjas. So that’s pretty cool.

Apparently, you could get one of four possible helmets. I was a little bummed that I didn’t get the classic Blue Bomber helmet. However, in terms of geek cred, having a little mock up of the Bubble Lead helmet ranks pretty high. I love MegaMan guys, so fuck you, I’m keeping this bad ass little thing to decorate my desk.

Lichdom and Street Fighter Promo Codes
The Steam code for a free copy of Street Fighter is pretty sweet if I didn’t already own the Ultimate Edition on PS3, so that’s definitely a gift for someone. I have also never even heard of Lichdom Battlemage so there’s that.
Happiness: ♥
The Box Itself
In that little zine they always include the back has a few little MegaMan dudes and Ryu dudes. The box transforms into a Capcom diorama. It’s pretty cute and I got this great photo but I’m a grown man. Pew pew pew!
Happiness: ♥
So yeah, this was a pretty decent haul. Even if I’m going to be giving most of this stuff away I would consider it a pretty good value. I think that giving away Loot Crate stuff every few months might become a pretty regular thing. So yeah, if you’re friends with me, lucky you I guess.
I really wanted to fit that helmet on Jason Voorhees again, but the hole was too small. I tried to fit it on a bunch of my other figures to no avail. Then? Silent Bob to the rescue:
