Listeners of the show are probably aware that Walter and I are big into the combined sport/art/performance that is pro-wrestling. Fans of 9to5 probably know that in general we’re all (except for Jon) a bunch of wrestling fans (just check out Sophie’s Halloween costume or this comic, or this one, or GPYS Special with Mick Foley) so you can imagine that we’re all very excited about this week’s guest: Green Phantom! The bona fide Hardcore Hero from our own lovely city of Montreal talks all things about being an indie pro-wrestling legend. Phantom talks about some ghastly injuries to his nether regions, how to set up a table if you’re about to throw someone through it, his shot at the WWE as well as some candid stories about the likes of Sabu and Jake the Snake Roberts. If you’re even slightly into wrestling, you owe it to yourself to give this episode a listen.

If you want to see Phantom in action, make sure you Like him on Facebook (updated by his own admission a lot more frequently than his Twitter account).

Of course a big thank you to the providers of our theme song: Aural Turpitude!

Finally, if you’ve never had the chance to see Green Phantom, here’s a little taste of what you’ve been missing:
