So, this is a little strange. I have never been part of a decision that has made the news. Giving full consideration and respect to the legal process outlined in the Canadian Judicial Council’s direction for the media I have decided to talk about my experiences as a juror in the trial of Emma Czornobaj. I make no mention of the deliberation process, and only talk about publicly available facts that were presented in the courtroom. Honestly, this is a lot more about my experience as a juror and also the differences in what I’ve noticed in the media from what was actually presented in court. Even though there’s some levity in the discussion, we try to keep the discussion respectful of the tragedy that occurred and the lives of everyone involved. As much as possible we try to stay neutral about the proceedings. If this still sounds interesting to you, then by all means, give us a listen. The only thing I ask is that you respect my personal life, I will gladly answer (law permitting) any questions you have, but would still ask that my private life stays that way. Thanks.9to5logo
