The Montreal podcast that asks Ram Krishnan (of The Unsettlers): What do you think the future holds for Greta Thunberg?

Normally Ram Krishnan plays bass for The Unsettlers, but on November 7th at La Vitrola, he will be behind the drum kit. Even more normally, Ram pours us beer at Grumpy’s. It’s a little strange to think of the sheer volume of beer Ram has poured me over the nearly 20 years that I’ve been drinking at Grumpy’s, to say nothing of the fact that he allows us to record a podcast out of the back the bar once every two weeks.

The Unsettlers, self described as “an eleven-piece band of time travelling troubadours” will be taking to the stage at La Vitrola with I believe most of those eleven pieces. If you haven’t had the chance to see The Unsettlers, their shows are few and far between because, as Ram says: “we never broke up, we just live in different cities.” So make the most of this rare concert and make your way to La Vitrola (4602 St. Laurent) to check them out (and get your tickets in advance).

Also, and this is very important: Music starts at 8:30 PM sharp with Declan O’Donavan opening up the festivities and The Unsettlers immediately following. So don’t be late, it’s a Thursday night and we’re all getting older.Ram Krishnan podcast
