9to5 Illustrated 2.0 Hiatus – Turtle Power
9to5 (illustrated) takes another short break, hey, we never said we weren’t lazy. In fact, this entire site is more or less based around us slacking off.
We’ve been running around a little with our heads cut off trying to keep this strip to twice a week. It’s not that we are incapable of doing it, it’s just really hard guys.
Nah, we (at least speaking for myself here) love doing the strip. We’ve had to reshuffle the workload a little this week, and there’s gonna be a few changes in how the strip gets produced. In the meantime, Soph’s gonna ink up a few strips in reserve so when we return we’ll have a bit of a head start instead of constantly playing catch-up.
Am I even making sense here?
Probably not.
TL;DR: Since we’re changing up who does what with the strip, we’re gonna be taking a bit of a break from the strip.
How long of a break? Hopefully not more than a few weeks. We should be back in February. We’re still gonna have Fuck Mondays, something on Wednesdays and something on Fridays (though they may not be Fine Arts Fridays or WTF World). Don’t worry, we got you. We’ll hold you. Hold you tight, all night.
In the meantime, here’s a sweet pic Sophie drew of us as the Ninja Turtles. There might be a few more of these, or there might not. I guess it sort of depends on whether or not Sophie wants to re-imagine the crew as other iconic teams or not. Enjoy!
