You may have noticed that Scott and I (along with Topher) have actually just started breaking down all the uniform changes for the ’17-’18 NHL season. This is because we’re Montreal hockey fans. Sophie cares not for hockey (way back in the early days 9ES she once called Patrick Roy Patrick Swayze). Jon cares tangentially when Scott and I are all riled up or if its the playoffs.
It’s July and I’m still checking hockey blogs daily. That’s a crazy thing. That is what a crazy person does.
You may have noticed a change in art on this strip, and that’s because Scott took over the art for this little one-off while we prep the next story run.
Also, Scott scraped up his leg something gnarly a few weeks ago and while he was doing this comic his son pointed out that in the comic his leg was unscathed. So now his leg is scraped up real nice.
