Comics Homage is where I will be discussing web comics that I quite like, and aping them shamelessly to illustrate my adoration. No, that’s a lie, I have some shame about this. But it’s an appropriate amount of shame, I assure you.
I am a fan of “A Softer World” by Joey Comeau and Emily Horne. Very dark humour, cool artsy photography. I am sad they came up with the concept before I could.
I met Joey at last year’s Expozine, where we had a wonderful little conversation about a friend of his that I knew. Then, I found out that this friend broke up with him and left him heartbroken and alone in a strange city.
It was awkward.
So I bought a print.
