Remember that time I sat down with Hollywood superstar Matthew Gray Gubler? No? Well, you should probably listen to this episode then so we can share that memory together. Matthew (or Matt as I like to call him, based solely on what other people like Life After Beth director Jeff Baena or co-star Aubrey Plaza call him) was great fun to sit down with and share the sun and a croissant. Ok, he was the one who ate the croissant. I just sat down.

I asked him the hard questions like, would he rather be a ghost hunter or a zombie hunter (he is a bit of a zombie hunter in Life After Beth and a ghost hunter in Suburban Gothic)? And I pull no punches when I demand that he tell me who was a bigger deal to meet: John Waters or Bill Murray. Listen, this is the feel good interview of the summer, you should just listen to it.

If you’re wondering why it sounds the way it does, I was testing the new 9to5 portable podcasting station. I wasn’t sure it was going to work and was ready to write up a transcript of our conversation. But guess what? It DID work and now you get to listen to it. Enjoy the show! By the way, that photo? It is a picture of a vial of incredibly realistic looking jizz (or “Ectogasm”) from the film Suburban Gothic. So now I own it.
